Rosanna Sim is the owner of Advantage Speech Pathology Services and has been working as a Speech-Language Pathologist for over 25 years, providing services to preschool and school-aged children with a range of communication disorders.
She is Hanen trained in "It Takes Two to Talk" and "More Than Words" and in Lidcombe fluency therapy. Rosanna has also been a guest speaker at Brock University in the Early Childhood Education program. She has been using PROMPT therapy (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets) since 2006 and is currently a Certified PROMPT Instructor providing education, consultation and instruction of the PROMPT technique in workshops and study groups for Speech-Language Pathologists across Canada. In November of 2018, she was the recipient of the 2018 Women in Business award through Celebrate Niagara. Rosanna graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1994 with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology/Linguistics Specialization and then completed her Masters of Science degree in Speech Pathology at the State University of New York, College at Fredonia in 1996.
Rosanna is a registered member of the College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists of Ontario (CASLPO), the Ontario Association of Speech-Language Pathologist and Audiologists (OSLA), a certified member of Hanen, the Ontario Association for Families of Children with Communication Disorders (OAFCCD) and a professional member of Autism Ontario Niagara Region Chapter. In her spare time, Rosanna loves to travel, ski, bike ride and spend time with her family.
