Rosanna is the owner of Advantage Speech Pathology Services and has been working as a Speech-Language Pathologist for over 28 years, providing services to preschool and school-aged children with a keen interest in motor speech.
Rosanna Sim is Hanen trained in "It Takes Two to Talk" and "More Than Words" and in Lidcombe fluency therapy. Rosanna has also been a guest speaker at Brock University in the Early Childhood Education program. She has been using PROMPT therapy (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets) since 2006 and is currently 1 of 6 Certified PROMPT Instructors in Canada providing education, consultation and instruction of the PROMPT technique in workshops and study groups for Speech-Language Pathologists across the US and Canada. In November of 2018, she was the recipient of the 2018 Women in Business award through Celebrate Niagara and a 2022 WIBA Health Care Hero finalist. Rosanna graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1994 with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology/Linguistics Specialization and then completed her Masters of Science degree in Speech Pathology at the State University of New York, College at Fredonia in 1996.
Rosanna is a registered member of the College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists of Ontario (CASLPO), a certified member of Hanen, a member of Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC)and a professional member of Autism Ontario Niagara Region Chapter.
In her spare time, Rosanna loves to travel, ski, bike ride and spend time with her family.
