Larissa is a Speech-Language Pathologist with over 10 years of clinical experience working in a variety of settings including treatment centers, preschools, and elementary schools. She provides assessment and intervention in the areas of early language, articulation, auditory processing, and augmentative & alternative communication (AAC). She has completed training in the Hanen Program: It Takes Two to Talk and several AAC courses focusing on the implementation of communication strategies and technology. She wholeheartedly believes in a total communication approach to therapy. The goal is for her clients messages to be understood when communicating with several different partners. Larissa makes every effort to find her client’s motivators and incorporate them into fun, meaningful therapy activities. In her spare time, you can find her at the park with her young children or cooking and hosting large family dinners. She likes finding delicious recipes for all to enjoy.
